LOVE SONG
by John Kolvenbach
directed by Gabriel Barre
June 18 - 28
Beane is ... not right. Intimidated and absent from the
world around him, he drifts along solely as an observer.
His career-focused sister Joan and cynical brother-in-law Harry
face a similar problem -- obsessing over the trivial instead of
enjoying their lives. Joan and Harry try and make time for
Beane, but can’t break through. But after an odd,
mysterious woman breaks into Beane’s sparse apartment, he is
transformed from reclusive loner to effervescent extrovert.
Beane is in love. Though the relationship worries his
loved ones, they can’t help but be transformed themselves.
Funny, romantic and touching, John Kolvenbach’s offbeat
production will leave you smiling and in the mood for ... well,
anything! (contains some adult language)

connections, LOVE SONG will have you smiling from the get-go."
-- Cape Cod Times
A tasty confection with enough flavors to make for a pretty
good date play, for lovers and old marrieds alike. -- San
Francisco Chronicle
"A series of delicious surprises, pessimistically hopeful
conversations and complexly simplistic observations about life
and love. " -- The Bohemian
