But what if that addition is not a child but the 73-year-old stepfather of the wife? A one-bedroom apartment in the Bronx is the setting for this humorous and poignant examination of the way we adapt to major changes in our lives.

Loving Leo is another in ATF’s ongoing Play in Progress series, part of our commitment to the presentation of new works. It’s your chance to be a part of the creative process that produces the hit shows of tomorrow. Following the reading, get a glimpse of the art of play writing as you discuss the show with the writers, an up-and-coming team whose previous musical, The Memory Show, is receiving its world premiere at Barrington Stage this summer.
