ADIRONDACK THEATRE FESTIVAL
12th ANNUAL WINTER BENEFIT
“It’s a Wonderful Night”
KEEPS THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT ALIVE AT THE CHARLES WOOD THEATER
JANUARY 20, 2006

Benefit on FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2005 at 7pm will take us to Bedford Falls, where ATF veteran, Mark Setlock, will perform excerpts from THIS WONDERFUL LIFE, his one-man adaptation of the holiday film classic. This ALWAYS SOLD OUT evening promises to keep with ATF’s tradition of unique benefit experiences!

Critics Choice Auction to include walk-on role in National Tour of MAMMA MIA when the hit Broadway musical plays Proctor’s in Schenectady in Fall 2006!

The Adirondack Theatre Festival’s Annual Benefit will again bring together a silent & live auction, food and drink, and Broadway style entertainment for a unique one-night fundraiser on Friday, January 20, 2006. The evening will begin with a cocktail party and our annual silent auction. This year’s auction items promise something for everyone including tickets for hard-to-get Broadway shows, favorite local and regional theaters, fly-away lodging and other theater packages, original artwork by renowned local artists and so much more. Sponsors for this year’s event are Davidson Brother’s Restaurant and Brewery, Delsignore’s Wine and Liquor, Fitzgerald Brothers Beverages, High Peaks Java, Montcalm Restaurant, Warrensburg Laundry & Dry Cleaning and New York Wine Cork.

The live auction will feature a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to appear on stage in the National Tour of the mega-hit Broadway musical MAMMA MIA at Proctor’s Theater when the tour plays Schenectady in September 2006. ATF’s Artistic Director Martha Banta, who is the Resident Director for MAMMA MIA both on Broadway and on tour has made arrangements for this “walk-on” role for an ATF supporter, with generous permission being granted by the show’s London-based producer as well as Actors Equity Association, the union for professional actors under whose contract the MAMMA MIA tour operates.

Also at the Benefit, Broadway actor, Mark Setlock will perform THIS WONDERFUL LIFE, a new one-man adaptation of the classic holiday film, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, which is having its world premiere this holiday season at Portland Center Stage in Oregon under the direction of ATF Artistic Director, Martha Banta and adapted for the stage by Steven Murray. Setlock has appeared several times at ATF including the world premiere of FULLY COMMITTED by Becky Mode in 1998 which he went on to appear in for two years Off Broadway and in London’s West End last year. Last summer he appeared in ATF’s work-in-progress reading LOST by Melissa James Gibson.
