Steve Barnes of the Albany Times Union calls it a “terrific production” that’s “all there in the music, superbly performed.”

“About as good a Johnny Cash concert as you can get, short of the ‘Man in Black’ himself rising from the grave for an encore. An ensemble realizes Cash’s music with talent and fiery reverence.” – The Citizen Review

“ Designed for enjoyment from start to finish, the show delights its audience…” —The Auburn Pub

“A fabulous piece of entertainment. A musical of grandeur and perfected style that offers endless delight. See it.” – The Buffalo News

David Lutken, star of 2012’s hit show Woody Sez, returns to lead a talented ensemble of actor/musicians as they celebrate the songs of a beloved American musical poet – Johnny Cash. Stories of faith, family, passion, redemption, and humor set the stage ablaze in this musical production. Touching on the life and times of the “The Man in Black”, Ring of Fire is considered one of the best “jukebox” musicals of our time. Although Cash himself is never impersonated, Ring of Fire takes audiences on a journey through Cash’s storied life and celebrated music from the cotton fields of Arkansas to the Grand old Opry.

Features more than 35 of Cash’s hit songs from his long career including “I Walk the Line, “Jackson”, “If I were a Carpenter”, “I’ve Been Everywhere”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “A Boy Named Sue”, and of course, “Ring of Fire”.
