ATF's Intern Program!
The Adirondack Theatre Festival's intern
program hires 8-10 interns each summer in different areas of administration and
production. While many of our interns have had an interest in performing and had a
beneficial experience, we wish to be clear that these internships are not performance
oriented. We will be hiring interns in each of the following areas:
Administration (2 interns - contracts, box office,
fundraising, company management)
Production Assistants (2 interns, 1 to start before 6/3/04 -
stage management, assistant director)
Carpentry (1 intern)
Electrics/Sound (1 intern)
Wardrobe (1 intern)
Props (1 intern)
The 2004 Internships will require a full-time commitment in
Glens Falls/Lake
George, NY from approximately June 3 - August 3, with the possibility of Administrative Interns starting
earlier in Glens Falls, and Production Assistants starting rehearsal in NYC a little
earlier. The internships are volunteer positions, although housing is provided and a small
stipend is paid at the conclusion of the Festival.
Before you apply, some thoughts:
Our season requires a full-time commitment
from approximately June 3 through August 3 (some positions may start earlier-see above).
This is an intensive professionally-streamed internship. While
best efforts are made to ensure that interns get time off there
is not a regularly scheduled day off each week.
