The Adirondack Theatre Festival’s annual Winter Benefit bringing
the best in Broadway talent to the North Country for a one-night
fundraiser on Saturday, March 18 2000 has sold out it's 8pm
performance and added a 5pm performance. "We've spoken to all
of the actors, and they're willing to start rehearsing earlier on
Saturday to allow for a 5pm performance" says ATF Artistic
Director Martha Banta who will be co-directing the evening with ATF
founder Gilles Chiasson. "We anticipated brisk sales because
our Benefit is on a Saturday night for the first time, but they
really went fast!".
Benefit on March 18, 2000 at 5 and 8pm (8pm is sold out) continues
the tradition of this annual sold-out event which brings Broadway
performers to the North Country for one night only. This year the
region's newest cultural attraction joins forces with one of the
oldest for an evening at Glens Falls' historic Hyde Collection, with
a post-show champagne reception with the cast in the dramatic
setting of the Hyde's historic galleries. |
