Land Acknowledgement

At Adirondack Theatre Festival, we honor the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land for countless generations. We acknowledge the Mohawk people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Mohican people as the original stewards of the region now known as Glens Falls, New York.

We recognize the history of displacement and inequity faced by Indigenous communities, and we hold deep respect for their enduring presence, cultures, and contributions. As we continue learning and growing, we strive to foster a community that values inclusion, understanding, and connection—with gratitude for those who came before us and those who continue to shape this land today.
