Producing Artistic Director - Miriam Weisfeld

Miriam Weisfeld is a creative producer and dramaturg who has developed new shows for Broadway and major regional productions. She was the original dramaturg to launch the development of: The Outsiders (pre-Broadway engagement at LaJolla Playhouse in February 2023); An American Tail (pre-Broadway engagement at CTC Minneapolis in May 2023); Clue (national tour); and Something Happened in Our Town (a multi-generational play about racial justice at CTC Minneapolis, in partnership with CBS affiliate WCCO). She supported the development of The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical (Broadway); Junk (Lincoln Center Theatre); and Eclipsed (Broadway). Additionally, she dramaturged the world premieres of Mr. Burns: a post-electric play (#4 on the New York Times’ list of “The 25 Best American Plays Since Angels in America.”); Bootycandy (Obie Award Special Citation); Stupid Fucking Bird (one of American Theatre Magazine’s top ten most produced plays of 2016); and many more. Administrative positions include Senior Vice President at the Araca Group in New York City and Associate Artistic Director at Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington, DC. MFA, American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre School Institute at Harvard University.

Managing Director - Tracey Sullivan

Tracey is excited to be back in her home state after spending the last 20 years creating and teaching theatre in New York City and New England. She earned a BA in Theatre from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT.  There, she also spent 11 summers in various roles at St. Michael’s Playhouse, the college’s resident professional summer theater.  Tracey also had the pleasure of working on several Broadway productions as a stitcher, craftsperson, and shopper at the famed costume shop Barbara Matera, Ltd. While there, she constructed costumes designed by Tony Award winners Gregg Barnes, Paul Tazewell, Susan Hilferty. and Julie Taymor.  In addition, Tracey has designed costumes/props and served as Production Manager and Producer for several professional companies including Northern Stage, Pentangle Arts Council, and Artistree Theatre Company. She developed and taught several educational programs designed to teach students and educators the process of creating theatrical productions in their schools and communities.  Originally from Yonkers, NY, Tracey is happy to call the Empire State home once again.
